Anna Parker: PKU Doesn't Hold Me Back
 | Anna Parker, 29, of Ringgold, Georgia was diagnosed with PKU just days after birth. The new mom of 8-month-old Emory Parker has always remained on diet. The help of her family, particularly her mother, contributed greatly to Anna's success with managing her diet and Anna learned how to advocate for herself at young age. The young mother and wife is also well-travelled, having been to Singapore, Indonesia and Paris, just to name a few. Anna named her daughter Emory after the Emory Metabolic Center that she attended as a child. She is an PKU Adult Representative for Georgia PKU Connect, an advocacy group providing resources to PKU patients.
