Part of Lionheart Institute's mission is to support those in need and to that end is honored to contribute to Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, a fully charitable hospital in Mangarh village, Uttar Pradesh, India. There are many rural areas in India, where proper medical facilities are not available. The majority of the people cannot afford the cost of even basic treatment, medications or essential medical services. Deprived of proper health care, people suffer terribly. The JKC hospital is run entirely on charities. It serves a rural population of 1000000 within its catchment radius of 80-100 kms, (over 200 miles). The JKC hospital treats 700 - 800 patients daily providing free and round the clock services of general physicians, gynecologists, physiotherapists, orthopedic and ophthalmic surgeons, as well as naturopathic and homoeopathic doctors. All medical personnel render their services free to the hospital. These hospitals are equipped with state of the art imaging, surgical and laboratory equipments providing all medical services to its patients completely free of charge.
