Beginning My Weight Loss Journey - 5/5/12









So I didn't describe it too well in the video because I had just finished a run and I was super tired. My mom and I are doing a "Bikini Challenge" this summer to get healthy. Although, I don't think I'll reach my goals by summer time, I think Fall 2012 is a more realistic goal. I've always been a chunky, overweight body type, even as a kid. And today I was sitting on my computer looking at motivation tumblrs and I thought "What am I doing with my life? I need to make a change. I should go for a run." So I decided that change starts now. I'm doing this because I want to get healthy, I want my body to match how I feel on the inside. I'm putting this out there because I want people to see this, it will hold me accountable. I know that it will be hard and that I'll want to quit but hopefully this will help keep me motivated. As I mentioned, I'll post measurements and updates every week in order to keep track of my weight loss. Work out: 3.8 mile jog/walk, 55 min. Week 1 Measurements: weight: 225 lbs. wrists: 7 in. height: 5'5" forearms: 11.5 in. neck: 14.5 in. biceps: 14.75 in. bust: 47 in. ankles: 10 in. waist: 42 in. calves: 19 in. stomach: 46 in. thighs: 28 in./27.5 in. hips: 42.5 in. ribcage: 40 in.
