The business owners have researched the products that sell online the most, and the easiest, and also researched the largest shopping demi graph of people online and built their business around this information. They have also done extensive testing; for example they designed a simple marketing page and ran an ad campaign promoting one of the products we will be offering. And over the course of a month they created about $115000 in sales from this one product!!! But..... it cost around $75000 in advertising costs. This means they netted around $40000 a month which is still not too bad. The point of this exercise was to see how well these products will sell, and to me these figures are very exciting and give me a clear message that yes they do sell! The key to success in sales is to find a problem and then provide a solution, or find what products or services a large percent of the market (online market in this case, as we are talking about an online business) are looking for and then design, create or source the products / services for these people. A lot of people or businesses do this back to front, they create a product and then try to find a market......sometimes they may get lucky but generally their success will be limited at best.
