Remember that cellphones were out for years before they finally admitted that they can cause cancer if constantly held to the users head when in use. Terahertz radiation can also cause infertility and has not been tested long enough to fully identify all the risks to human health. These concerns matter very little to people like Usurper Mayor Michael Bloomberg who wants everyone living in micro apartments and watching what they drink under penalty of law. Of coarse the NYPD will lie to the public and claim this technology is as safe as a airplane flight and necessary to get guns off the street which NYPD cops themselves have been caught providing to other criminals. The NYPD fails to realize that it doesn't matter whether you physically search someone by hand, use technology or magic even, it is still a search without probably cause in direct violation of the US Constitution. In this nightmarish city following the England motto of citizen disarmament, citizens have been stripped of their 2nd amendment right to self defense making them totally dependent on police which now feed on the population with illegal arrest and ticket quotas.
