World Health Games - Spring 2012 Calgary









On June 16, the fittest athletes from the club qualifiers met at Macleod Trail World Health to compete in the Calgary Spring 2012 World Health Games. More than 20 athletes competed in 5 categories: Men Under 40, Women Under 40, Men Over 40, Women Over 40, Male Staff, Female Staff and Team. Each athlete had to participate in all 5 events which were: 3 rep max pull up (for men) and timed pull up (for women), Dumbbell front squat for volume, 400m run/30 kettlebell swings - 3 sets for time, med ball toss and broad jump for distance, and a gauntlet challenge. Everyone gave their all and there was truly some incredible performances. In the end, the winners were: Woman staff - Lindsey Hogan Men staff - Omar El-Sayed Men's O40 - Trevor Crockwell Women U40 - Lauren Pryor Men U40 - Todd Batke Team - Sunridge Congrats to all of the winners and to everyone who competed!
